NSU to Receive Project & Safety Awards

This week it was announced that NSU would receive the following awards. Congratulations to all teams involved! March 26, 2015, Hillsborough, NJ  Natural Systems Utilities (NSU) has, for the third year in a row, been nominated for Company Safety Awards through the New Jersey State Safety Council. 2015 awards will be presented in May. March 25, 2015, Ham Lake, MN Natural Systems Utilities, MN (NSU-MN) is pleased to announce that it received 14 wastewater operation awards from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) at the 2015 Wastewater Operations Conference. NSU-MN is again the recipient of more awards than any other decentralized wastewater management company in the state. From 2003-2014, NSU-MN has earned 146 awards. The MPCA has been recognizing operators across the state for outstanding operation, maintenance and management practices at their wastewater treatment facilities since 1978. The awards are based on a facility demonstrating full compliance with MPCA operation permits. They also require that facilities are overseen by properly certified operators; all required monthly and annual reports are timely and properly completed; and facilities have no bypasses, enforcement actions or inspections identifying compliance issues. March 13, Ham Lake, MN Natural Systems Utilities, Ham Lake, MN to receive the 2015 Central States Industrial Achievement Award for the Forest County Potawatomi Community Anaerobic Digester Project. The award will be presented by the Central States Water Environment Association (CSWEA) at their 88th Annual Meeting on May 20, 2015. The CSWEA (a Water Environment Federation organization for the central states of Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin) offers multiple opportunities for the exchange of water quality knowledge and experiences among its members and the public and fosters a greater awareness of water quality achievements and challenges
