Dan joined the XPV team in 2014. His ability to assess and manage risk, along with his knowledge of global commodity markets, allows him to provide diverse knowledge to the XPV team that directly benefits our partner companies.
Previously, Dan had a successful trading career at Gelber Group LLC, based at the Chicago Board of Trade. During this time he arbitraged US Treasury bonds and commodity futures markets, providing liquidity and making markets.
Dan holds a BA in Economics from McGill University. Dan has passed the Level I CFA exam, and has completed the Series 72 exam and the Canadian Securities Course.
In his spare time, Dan enjoys participating in sports: hockey, lacrosse, golf, running and weight-lifting. He is an avid reader who is enjoys studying and learning various subjects, including history, investment theory and human nature. Dan is a family man, happily married with one son and one daughter.
