Mr. Bailey has 40 years of experience working on Water challenges around the world. He spent 35 years with CH2M, which was acquired by Jacobs in late 2017. He served as the President of CH2M’s Global Water Business Group overseeing a $1B (US) water consulting, design and construction business and served 3 terms on the firm’s Board of Directors. He most recently served as the Executive responsible for CH2M’s City and Urban Portfolio and Solutions Program. In this role, he oversaw the firm’s enterprise strategy and stewardship for major city and urban clients. He was responsible for working with all of CH2M’s market and service platforms to bring integrated and sustainable infrastructure, technology and economic development solutions to City and Urban clients.
Mr. Bailey has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois and is a distinguished Alumni. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Florida), and is a Board-Certified Environmental Engineer as recognized by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers. He served as a member of the Water Security Council of the World Economic Forum, and serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Florida’s Engineering School of Sustainable Infrastructure and the Environment. Mr. Bailey is a Past President of the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA).
Mr. Bailey is a recipient of the AWWA’s National George Warren Fuller Award for Leadership, as well as a Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Illinois, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
